With more than three decades of clinical experience, Dr. Jeff Norman has dedicated his career to helping patients overcome chronic illness, restore function, and rediscover a higher quality of life. As Co-Founder of Genesis Back & Neck, Dr. Norman brings a unique blend of clinical expertise, teaching ability, and genuine passion for patient transformation.


Known by many as “The Laughter Guru,” Dr. Norman is a chiropractic physician, internationally sought-after speaker, and accomplished author. He has written seven books, including Overcoming Burnout: 7 Steps to Rekindling the Fire and Becoming Passionately Engaged in Your Life, as well as his newest book, The Healing Power of Laughter. Through his writing and speaking, he has inspired audiences across the United States and internationally, addressing topics such as stress management, relationships, personal fulfillment, and achieving meaningful success.


Dr. Norman has spent over 30 years in private practice and has pursued extensive advanced training in clinical nutrition, functional medicine, treatment of automobile accident injuries, chronic pain conditions, and complex chronic illness. Early in his career, he was recognized with the “New Doctor of the Year” award from the Utah Chiropractic Physician’s Association, where he later served in multiple leadership roles, including chairman of the board of directors.


Today, Dr. Norman focuses much of his patient care on helping individuals reverse or improve chronic conditions such as Type II diabetes, peripheral neuropathy, autoimmune disorders, balance disorders, and performance limitations. He is especially passionate about helping patients who have been told they have “no other options” rediscover hope and measurable progress.


In addition to co-founding Wellspring Advanced Health, Dr. Norman is also the founder of Balance and Performance Centers of America, further reflecting his commitment to advancing patient care and functional performance.


Outside the clinic, Dr. Norman enjoys spending time with his wife Carrie of 37 years, their four children, two grandchildren, and their two beloved Yorkies. He continues to share his passion for helping others live healthier, more fulfilling lives through teaching, writing, and patient care.
